Café Opera

A packed dance floor beneath the crystal chandeliers at Café Opera

Four Decades of Celebration

Café Opera is one of Sweden's most famous nightclubs, where international stars, royalty, and celebrities have been spotted mingling for more than four decades.

Café Opera, or “Cafét,” opened in 1980 and is a nightclub with an unparalleled international atmosphere. The nightclub is adorned with beautiful ceiling murals by the 19th-century artist Vicke Andrén, and beneath the magnificent crystal chandeliers, the party goes on several nights a week. Many world-famous live performances and concerts have taken place here, and several of the world’s best DJs have performed here as well.

The Hub of the Late Night

Right next to Café Opera is END—where the party goes on until dawn. Here, everything is louder, later, and so much more!

For the most party-loving and the most resilient, we’ve created END. This is for those of you who have no plans to call it a night at 3:00 a.m., but dare to venture even deeper into the wee hours. With direct access from Café Opera, the night continues in our small, intimate, and intense nightclub with a capacity of 150 guests. It’s louder, later, and so much more.
